This is bad! this is really bad!
I'm completely hooked on Grey's anatomy. On thursday, I ended up staying up until 4:30 in the morning finishing the first season of grey's anatomy. 4:30 friends! All I want to do all day is sit in front of the tv, and watch the rest of the second season of grey's anatomy. This is bad....this is really bad.

The Chronicles of Narnia

On Sunday I started A new chapter in the book Chronicles of Narnia. The next chapter is called Prince Caspian. My mom gave me word that have begun production on Prince Caspian already. So I though I step ahead a read the book before the movie comes out
Things that have been happening:

- Phoebe e ( my cat ) has decided that the dinning room table is now her favorite place to sit
- we have a bird that has returned to our house " the beeper" it belongs to ange
- I am now hooked on Grey' s Anatomy,: done with season one, onto season two
- I am no longer friends with Amber bell
- still haven't read the last two Harry potter books
- I have lost ten pounds and will get weighed next week
- my long time friend Brian will be coming home from Japan to visit with his girlfriend
- cauliflower and chicken don't go together
- Hard Rock's twisted mac chicken and cheese rocks!
- cooking meatballs takes time, because you will burn them if you speed up the process
- eating food I shouldn't eat now makes me sicker than a dog
- the phase LOL is still being used too much by everyone

sleeping pattern

I believe the only one in my family who understand my sleep pattern is my mom. everyone else is like " why do you sleep in so late? " " it's past ten in the morning, why does she always sleep soo late?"

What the family does not understand, it that I have always been a night owl. I work a shift at my job from 3pm-1130pm four days during the week, and every other weekend. So get home around 1145, sometimes 12, it just depends on how crazy the shift was. So I get home and don't go to sleep right away. I'm not tired. I have to unwind after my work shift. It's not a normal job! If I'm at work alone cover two part of the department and their both busy, I'm coming home wiped and numb, but not tired. So coming home I watch Jay Leno and Conan O' Brien and try to relax. I don't eat any more when I get home, because that caused a major acid reflux problem, plus I'm trying to lose weight.
After both programs, I switch on a movie and play clue or monopoly on my phone for a while, and then when I get tired I go to bed. If I try to go to bed when I'm NOT tired, there is hell to pay! I'm up all night not tired, and frustrated because I can't get to sleep. In situations like this, I sometimes text my friend Sean, because he is an night owl like I am. We usually talk until we are tired, which is usually until the sun come up.
Now when I worked at Disneyland, I didn't have a problem with relaxing before going to bed. I would barley change out of my clothes and then fall/crash into my bed. With Disneyland, you were on your feet for 12 and a half hours everyday. And for me, it meant I had to spiel on my ride and be on my feet for almost 12 and a half hours everyday. Also the thing is I didn't just live around the corner from Disneyland. I lived thirty minutes away. So I would get home after almost a 13 hour day, sometimes more because of traffic. Yeah, I would unwind in the car to Bobby Darin, and then by the time I hit home, I would be tired.
After Disneyland, I went back to the eight hours of work at the hospital. I was at a point where I couldn't sleep at all! The only way I would fall asleep, was with sleeping pills. Then after a argument with my mom. We figured out my schedule, and if I'm getting home so late, then getting up before 8 was just crazy. No later than ten, my mom and I both agreed.
So, yeah! My mom and my doctor really only understand my sleeping schedule.

it feels like the north pole

I am absolutely freezing!!!!!!!!
You know it's too cold when the hairs on the back of your neck stand up! It sucks being next to surgery! it's always freezing!
I work in radiology at a hospital. I love our radiologists, because they so laid back, cool and are just human. They always have a good attitude, and they show that they appreciate my work I do. Sometimes though, I wonder with some people that work in the hospital. Like nurses for example!
If I'm dying, they know how to save my life, know what meds I need, and have ears like an eagle. but for they life of them can't figure out how to find a result in a computer.
My favorite question:
" I need a result on this patient "

Yeah work has it's moments. When i arrive at work at three, everyone in the front office leaves at 3:30. then the film library ( where they hold all the actual films ) person leaves at 4:30 or 5. So when the front office is busy, and the film library is busy, I'm screwed!
I believe the only reason I'm still in the front office in radiology is because of the radiologists. They are the reason I come to work everyday. I know they will need my help, and they know I will drop everything and help them. They make sure that I know they appreciate my help.

Look-a-likes

For all that know, I work at a hospital. In February it will be five years that I have worked there. AMAZING!!! Ever since I have worked at the hospital, there is this older man that looks exactly like George Lucus. Out of all the years I have been here, every time I past him, no change.Now I am talking about exact same hair color, weight, even the length of beard! I swear it could be him twin....scary!
When I worked at Disneyland, on the Jungle Cruise, there was a guys I knew named Jordan and Micheal Libby. Jordan had to be at least 6 foot 3. There is a transporter at the hospital that looks exactly like him same height, same curly hair, same face, same skin tone exacly the same........There is also another transporter that looks exactly like micheal libby, but a little taller.......I believe. Same thing! Everything down to the skin tone looks like Micheal. Last but not least, the manager down in the cafateria in the hospital looks like Ricky Ricardo, my favorite look-a-like of all!

August's MEN of the month

I was thinking really hard about August. Then...... I was think just one man? Why one? Why not many? So, it came to a close that not only is it one man for August........................but three!

That's right three hot handsome men that we have been drooling over for years!

Matt damon, George clooney, and Brad pitt! These three men have been in many movies over the years. Then all these wonderful hot guys were all cast in a movie called Ocean's 11, which is a remake from the original with the Rat Pack in it. From there, they signed on for the two sequels that followed Ocean's 11. Overall, Matt Damon, George Clooney, and Brad Pitt.........their just awesome!

MINNEAPOLIS - An interstate bridge jammed with rush-hour traffic suddenly broke into huge sections and collapsed into the Mississippi River Wednesday, pitching dozens of cars 60 feet into the water and killing at least seven people.

The eight-lane Interstate 35W bridge, a major Minneapolis artery, was in the midst of being repaired and two lanes in each direction were closed when the bridge buckled.

"There were two lanes of traffic, bumper to bumper, at the point of the collapse. Those cars did go into the river," said Minneapolis Police Lt. Amelia Huffman. "At this point there is nothing to suggest that this was anything other than a structural collapse."

Jamie Winegar of Houston was sitting in traffic shortly after 6 p.m. when all of a sudden she started hearing "boom, boom, boom and we were just dropping, dropping, dropping, dropping."

The car she was riding in landed on top of a smaller car but did not fall into the water. She said her nephew yelled, "'It's an earthquake!' and then we realized the bridge was collapsing."

Minneapolis Fire Chief Jim Clack said 60 people were taken to area hospitals for treatment and that the death toll could rise.

Rescuers called off the search as nightfall made it too dangerous to search the waters, which were filled with chucks of the mangled bridge and at least 50 vehicles in the water.

"We think there are several more vehicles in the river we can't see yet," Clack said, adding that the likelihood of finding survivors was slim.

Authorities referred family members searching for missing loved ones to a nearby hotel, where the Red Cross had set up operations.

Dr. Joseph Clinton, emergency medical chief at Hennepin County Medical Center, said his hospital treated 28 injured people — including six who were in critical condition.

Clinton said at least one of the victims had drowned.

The Homeland Security Department also said the collapse did not appear to be terrorism-related. The National Transportation Safety Board planned to send a team of investigators to Minneapolis, NTSB spokesman Ted Lopatkiewicz said.

Gov. Tim Pawlenty said the bridge was inspected by the Minnesota Department of Transportation in 2005 and 2006 and that no structural problems were noted. "There were some minor things that needed attention," he said.

Police Chief Tim Dolan said officers were checking other bridges as a precaution.

The steel-arched bridge, which was built in 1967, rose about 64 feet above the river and stretched about 1,900 feet across the river. The bridge was built with a single 458-foot-long steel arch to avoid putting any piers in the water that might interfere with river navigation.

A burning truck and a school bus clung to one slanted slab. The bus had just crossed the bridge before it crumpled into pieces.

Christine Swift's 10-year-old daughter, Kaleigh, was on the bus returning from a field trip and called her mother. "She was screaming, 'The bridge collapsed!'" Swift said.

She said a police officer told her all the kids got off the bus safely.

It appeared that the center section of the bridge dropped straight down and pancaked in the middle of the river, leaving several vehicles stranded on a broken island of wreckage. As divers plumbed the waters, other rescuers searched frantically for victims amid broken, zigzagged sections of blacktop. Some of the injured were carried up the riverbanks.

Dozens of vehicles were scattered and stacked on top of each other amid the rubble. Some people were stranded on parts of the bridge that weren't completely in the water.

Many motorists may have been headed to the Minnesota Twins game not far from the bridge. Team officials decided to play the game after conferring with department of public safety officials. It was decided that sending 20,000 to 25,000 people back into traffic could hinder rescue efforts, said team president Dave St. Peter.

Catherine Yankelevich survived a 1994 earthquake in Northridge, Calif., and was on the I-35W bridge when it began to shake. "Cars started flying and I was falling and saw the water," she said. After her car plunged into the river, she climbed out the driver's side window and swam to shore uninjured.

Road crews had been working on the 40-year-old bridge's deck, joints, guardrails and lights this week. "None of it would be related to the structure," said Bob McFarlin, assistant to Minnesota Transportation Commissioner Carol Molnau.

The bridge was scheduled for inspection this fall, he said.

Tom Sloan, head of the bridge division for Progressive Contractors Inc. said his company had 18 workers on the bridge at the time of the collapse and one was unaccounted for on Wednesday night. Three were hospitalized, while several others were treated for minor injuries, he said.

"Obviously, this is a catastrophe of historic proportions for Minnesota," said Pawlenty said. "And right now we are focused on making sure that we are doing everything to respond to the needs of those individuals that may have been harmed in this incident."
