The DMV

I went to the Laguna Hills DMV. The line to get your ticket was out the door when I arrived. Knowing that I was going to be in line forever, I decided to call my friend Adrian. Within 5 minutes of being on the phone with him, I had to get off because of the commotion going on out side. While you are in line for your ticket for your placement of being seen, and taken care of, there are two huge windows on your left side. When reaching the first window, there was this commotion going on outside. It was between a black Sabb and a pedestian. Basically this is what happened....... in front of the DMV.......
The pedestian was crossing the street, and the black Sabb was driving towards the pedestain. When the car reaches the pedestain, the car slows down, but doesn't stop. The pedestain is basically less than a half a foot from the sidewalk, but stops in the road and doesn't go on the saidewalk. Instead of the car stopping altogether ( which he should have done ), the sabb dedices to go around the pedestain, but misses! The pedestain's leg is swiped by the car, but not enough to make him fall over. What does the pedestain do..... turns around and throws the drink he had in his hand at the black Sabb. Doesn't the car stop then? NOPE! While the car is still moving ( very slow mind you), the passager on the black Sabb says something out the window . Then the driver of the car stops, and gets out to start yelling at the pedstain for throwing the drink.
About five minutes of the yelling, the black Sabb drove off. While the pedesatin sat on the bench out out the DMV, someone from the DMV brought out a actual photograph taken in fron of the DMV. About ten minutes after the photo was given, reflective lights where mirrored all the inside of the building. Apparently, he guy in the black Sabb called the cops on the pedestain. A fire truck and a motorcylce cop came. By this time I got my ticket and went to the window to go watch, along with the rest of the DMV. The fire truck left, because there was no reason for them to be there. A second motorcycle cop came and after that, the shariff came.

The shariff pulled out what looked like measuring tape, and this thing that looked like an old fashion lawn mower. Of course these things were for measuring the ground and distance. Unfortunely my number was called and by the time I was done, all the cops were gone, including the pedstain and the black Sabb. So I've learned the DMV is the most boring place most of the time. Sometimes though, awesome drama happens which makes your 20 thousand hour wait a little more exicting!

Man of the Month

CHRIS PINE

This fine young actor is our Man of the Month! Why you might ask?Because....... I have watched another film with him in it. He is so beyond handsome. This actor has appeared in such films as Princess Diaries two, and Just my luck, and he could be honored for his handsomeness!

Now, you might be thinking, arg! Cheesy romance movies, a.k.a chick flicks. Yes! They are cheesy romance movies with really bad plots and acting. Well, expect for Princess Diaries, because for all who don't know, Julie Andrews is in that one, and we all have to respect Julie Andrews. She is one of the fine actors respected in the Hollywood.

Now the movie Just my Luck, not a good movie. The only good thing about it is Chris pine. He is geek in the beginning, but become this handsome fella towards the end. He almost reminds me of Christopher for Gilmore girls. Another hot guy in Hollywood..........That's another story altogether.

So We honor Chris Pine as hot guy of November!

THE TIME HAS COME

Well ladies and gentlemen she has done it! My best friend of ten years has found her prince charming. Lailah kabbara and I have been planning our wedding since we were fourteen. The wedding magazines we would looked for hours and plan for that one special day.

By the time we were sophomores we got our best friend Sarah into planning her wedding too.Muahahahah! It was like a curse with us. Once we hit college, we still didn't have any guys , but it didn't stop us from planning our weddings! During our down times we would plan our wedding colors, our dresses, and everything else. Now lailah is the first one, out of all three to get married first. The scary thing is, that Sarah said to Lailah before she left for Virginia " you might want to come back to California, but I have a feeling you are going to find your guy in Virginia "

Well, it looks like Sarah was right. She found she prince charming that she will be with for the rest of her life. Lucky!!!

Virginia here we come!!!!

It's a hole!!!

About a couple of days ago I was really tired and downed almost a whole cup of coffee. Now, if the coffee is cold, that's ok. In my case, the coffee was just made. :(
That's right my friends! I burned my whole bottom lip. Your lip gets all bumpy and you start talking all funny, it's just not pleasant. Last night I got off work and went to BJ'S with my Sarah. She got pizza and I got the most rockin potato! For some reason or another I didn't realize the time, we got there around 10:30 and didn't leave until midnight. Or course the service sucked like always, but we got our food one way or another. Sarah and I got home watched some Gilmore and then went to bed. I swear, it was probably around 4 or five in the morning.
I got up around ten and was out of it. Went to bed for another 15 minutes and went to get ready for work. I washed my face, brushed my teeth, got dressed have half awake. I looked in the mirror and saw the hole on my lip! No joke! The scar on my lip was gone and there was a hole here instead. DISGUSTING!!!!
So, I got to work today, and the waiting room door is closed. First though: was I suppose to be the morning person?
Then walked the the room and Sujata was sitting there. They closed the door because there were family members crying of the their mother that just coded and died. Sad......Moment of silence.
One by one more family member came into the room. Sujata left for the day, and then before I knew it, I had a full waiting room of crying people. Then the trauma bells go off.
Amber calls me, we talk and then I had to get off the phone for the respect of the family now singing in my waiting room. Some priest/ someone important in their religion came and led them through a morning ceremony. When this ceremony is going on, the helicopters come in with the trauma. There were three helicopter, with all traumas from Ortega highway. So I have morning service going on in the waiting room, and the trauma situation in the hospital.
But all time stopped when the hottest cop came by with the trauma patient. I mean all time stopped.
He just walked by..... (sigh)

The best Sunday ever!!!

So, my Sunday started with my best friend Sarah waking me up, and telling me she threw up all over my bed spread. We were drinking the night before. After driving Sarah home, I signed in my step sister into Disneyland while being yelled at on the phone by my parents because my room smelled like vomit. My shift at work did not start until six, so I had time to try to fix the smell at home. After a LOT of trying, I ended up throwing out my bed spread, and coming to realize that I might have to remove a section of my carpet in my room.
When I got to work it started off with a dead head( going around the jungle with no guest in the boat). My first boat sucked ass! Completely silent! After that boat, all my boats were amazing! While on the dock one of my leads that was off duty came up and asked me if I remember the private party I took around the jungle yesterday. Well of course I remember! Sweetest trip ever! It was a small family that I took privately around the jungle that was having an awful time in the park. The guy looked familiar, but i just couldn't place him. By the end of the trip around the jungle they were all in a better mood. Then she told me that it was Tony Hawk I took around the jungle! First shock and then happiness. Tony Hawk is my first Famous person that I taken around the Jungle Cruise. That night, I was just working a five hour shift , so it went by real fast.
When we closed, our lead that night suggested to have story time in Tarzan's tree house. Story time is one of the special things that the leads like doing at the end of the night for the skippers. Out of all the skippers that closed that night, only five or so went to story time. Well.......................... WE didn't have story time in the tree house! We passed the tree house! Instead we went straight into Club 33. It was unbelievable!!!! We got to here the stories, see the pictures, see the Mary Poppins table, the red walls, the happiest millionaire phone booth, the glass elevator. The view from club 33 over looked all New Orleans. it was just the most amazing thing!
The day started off crappy, but ended with a wonderful ending.
