How to Stop Loss of Eyelashes

{Avoid waterproof mascaras}
Waterproof mascaras can be very difficult to remove, frequently requiring lots of rubbing and tugging on the lashes. This can cause loss of eyelashes. Switch to a lighter mascara that's not waterproof and be gentle when you remove your eye makeup. Soak a cotton ball in baby oil or eye makeup remover and gently go over the lashes without pulling or tugging on the hair shaft. Removing eye makeup after a hot shower can make the job easier and less stressful on the lashes.


{Change the way you apply your eye makeup}
If you're using an eyelash curler, you may want to discontinue this practice. An eyelash curler used regularly can add additional stress to your eyelashes causing them to thin out. Go lighter on your applications of mascara and avoid rubbing your eyes when you're wearing it. Always remove mascara without tugging or pulling on your lashes before going to bed. Heavy coats of mascara left on overnight can contribute to eyelash loss.

{Rule out allergies to your eye makeup}
Sometimes loss of eyelashes can be due to an allergic reaction to one of the ingredients in your makeup. Have you recently switched to a new brand? If so, you may want to eliminate that product and see if your symptoms improve. You can also try changing to hypoallergenic eye makeup products to see if this solves the problem.


Individual eyelashes fall out all the time. People who wear contact lenses know this fact all too well. Eyelashes take about four to eight weeks to grow back. These tiny hairs (with help from their cousins to the north) protect your eyes from dust and sweat -- you'd definitely notice a difference if you were to lose them.

All human hairs go through three stages during their growth and development. One stage is anagen. This is the active, growing phase. For eyelashes, this phase lasts 30 to 45 days. Eyelashes are short because this phase is far shorter than the 2 to 6 year growth phase of scalp hairs. During this phase, the hair will keep growing and will not fall out unless pulled, plucked or otherwise forced out.

So, if you see that your eyelashes ARE NOT growing back, the end result could be serious. See your opthamologist!!! O_o

Third times the charm

I have learned a very valuable lesson when it come to dishwashers, dishes, and dish washing soap. My house was out of dish washing soap, so i went to big lots and bought Palmoive ECO +. It's phosphate free and apparently it's a new formula. I was thinking GREAT! it 's cheap, and it's lemon scented ( which really doesn't make a difference ), and it is econ friendly.
This NEW Palmolive turned and stained all my dishes white! I was sooooooooo mad! So I run a cycle after that with no soap. It did not come off. I go to the store buy a DIFFERENT dish washing soap that was clear, and it was cascade that we always use. The stains did not come off. I ran two loads with cascade, nothing happened.
Find out from my mom, that white vinger will help. I ran the first load, a little came off. Ran the second load, more came off. So, I am hoping as I am running the third load, the rest will come off.I am crossing my fingers.
Lesson learned! Never use dish washing soap that is white, or new.
